NS 2 Program -Install & Execute

Let see how to run a Network Simulator2 (NS2)Program .

Save your ns-2 program in .tcl format

In order to execute the program Ns-2  and NAM package should be  installed in the  System
if not so , you will be getting the following error

ns finish couldn't execute nam no such file or directory
while executing exec nam out.nam &

               To install NS-2 Package :

                               Sudo apt-get install ns2

                  To install NAM package

                             Sudo apt-get install nam

Now the system is ready to execute the program .Give the following command to execute

                           ★  ns filename.tcl
